ROCK A FESTIVAL.. in a Jumpsuit...by Rachel Cameron Webb

There weren't many Festivals around when I was in my 20s....its was illegal raves in fields or squat parties, which you never dressed up for....the scene now is huge with several Festivals happening every weekend during the Summer and the UK leads the way.....We do love an outdoor party!
I am now in my (late!) 40s and I LOVE going to Festivals. There is something so liberating and positive about being immersed in nature, surrounded by happy smiley people who are all wanting to have a good time. Walking into a Festival  is like walking into a bubble of love and happiness…where you can leave all your troubles behind and reconnect to the world - it's a total joy!
I've endured all kinds of festival experiences from getting stuck in a in a Portatloo to our tent getting washed away at Glastonbury......but these days I tend to try and be a little more civilised and opt for Glamping...I know it's a little more expensive but I feel I have earnt it!

Festival season is the perfect time to express your unique style and embrace fashion that is both trendy and comfortable. While traditional festival outfits often consist of shorts, crop tops, and bohemian dresses, there's one versatile garment that deserves a spotlight—the Jumpsuit!

Jumpsuits are a fashion statement in their own right. They effortlessly exude a sense of style and sophistication, allowing you to make a bold impression at any festival. Whether you opt for a sleek, tailored design or a bohemian, floaty jumpsuit, you're sure to turn heads and capture attention!

One of the biggest advantages of rocking a jumpsuit is its versatility. Jumpsuits come in various styles and lengths, ranging from full-length to culottes and everything in between. This means you can easily find a jumpsuit that suits your body type and personal preference. Additionally, jumpsuits can be easily accessorized to reflect your individual style. Add a statement belt, some fun jewellery, a wide-brimmed hat, or a fringe bag and create a festival-ready ensemble that's uniquely yours.

In a sea of festival-goers wearing traditional outfits, rocking a jumpsuit instantly sets you apart from the crowd. Jumpsuits have a unique flair that catches the eye, making a strong fashion statement. They demonstrate confidence and individuality, showcasing your personal style. So, if you're looking to stand out and make a memorable impression, a Jumpsuit is the way to go!

While style is important, comfort is equally essential, especially when spending long hours dancing and enjoying music at a festival. Jumpsuits offer the perfect balance between fashion and comfort. Jumpsuits allow for easy movement while keeping you cool and comfortable throughout the day. Say goodbye to worrying about your skirt flying up or your shorts riding high —jumpsuits have got you covered!  Festivals often involve navigating crowded areas, sitting on the grass, or even enduring unpredictable weather conditions. Jumpsuits are a practical choice for such situations and once you have mastered the art of going to a loo in a jumpsuit at a festival you will never look back - I promise! (see recent insta post!)

So, once you have decided on what Jumpsuit to wear - you can then think about accessorising it. To celebrate the relaunch of our website and our exciting New ACCESSORIES TO ROCK Collection and FRIENDS ROCK Brand Partnerships, I thought I'd introduce you to some of the fab new products we have on our website and share with you some of my  'Must Haves' to Rock at a Festival

Let's start with a Denim Jumpsuit or Boilersuit - as mentioned above a Jumpsuit speaks for itself but adding some Sparkle is essential. I usually throw one of our gorgeous sequin Duster Coats or Vintage Capes over my RUBY Jumpsuit (more Coming Soon!) or ANITA  and job done! I might add one of our new Headbands or Sequin Headwraps and then to complete the look add one our amazing ROCK belts and s Skinny Scarf or Feather Boa to finish things off!

A Sequin Jumpsuit like the GLORIA or a Catsuit like the DOLLY from Rock the Jumpsuit are really popular to wear at a Festival! They dont need much accessorising but you can still add pretty much anything and they still look fab! A denim Jacket looks fab or for an all out DOUBLE Sparkle, I sometimes wear a Sequin Duster too...

Good footwear is essential as there is usually alot of walking - if weather is good  I will always take my trustee Havanna Flip Flops, but Im loving the new Esska trainers and of course taking a pair of wellies is very important if it is wet.
I always wear sparkly socks... even when im not at a Festival....it just makes me feel good!
I do love a little Glitter around the eyes but it is important its Bio degradable....the best UK brands I have come across are Ecostardust and BioGlitter and I use an Aloe vera lip balm to attach the glitter which works really well!
I am also loving the nail varnishes from Nailberry and their Festival of Colours collection, but the 'Lilac Fairy' and 'Pistachio-oh!' are just amazing.
Bandolier have just launched some FAB Neon phone and card holders which are perfect for Festivals and look super cool but if you need something bigger, check out the Little Lies suede fringe bag collection.

Other essentials needed... to ensure you have the best time ever.....are a good supply of Rebound Recovery Pills, which are essential to minimise the hangover during and after a big weekend. They are packed full of over 50 high quality nutrients, amino acids and botanicals to support liver detoxification, energy, immunity, cognition, mood and sleep!
Also, dont forget your Spacemask - amazing self heating eyemask with essential oils to help you drift off to sleep, and some really good Ear plugs! I recently discovered Happy Ears and they really Rock! A good Power bank is also essential.
So, to conclude, when it comes to festival fashion, the Jumpsuit is a versatile and stylish choice that combines comfort and trendiness. You can Embrace your individuality, experiment with different styles, prints, and accessories to create a festival outfit that truly reflects your personality. So, next time you attend a festival, dare to Rock a Jumpsuit and make a fashion statement that will have heads turning and cameras flashing.
Get ready to dance, enjoy the music, and stand out from the crowd in your fabulous jumpsuit!
See you in a field somewhere soon!
